We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Horsley as Chairman of Harpenden Rugby Club with immediate effect. David was brought up in Harpenden and was a product of Berkhamsted School before graduating from Durham University.

He is a practicing Chartered Accountant and Consultant C.F.O. David played lock forward for Saracens from 1993-1995 then played for Harpenden in 1995 -2000 then again 2018-2020.

David’s biggest achievement in Rugby was playing in the team that won the NPI National Junior Cup for Harpenden in 1997, arguably the biggest moment in our club’s history! We are all very excited for the future of our great club and believe David has the skill set, passion and drive to continue the club’s development and success on, and off, the field.
