Words from HRFC President - Will Hutchins

John played for more than 20 years for HRFC and first joined Harpenden just after the club moved from Dalkeith Road to Redbourn Lane in 1964 . John was an ever present character and great tourist who also spent many years in office as club treasurer in the early to mid-1970’s and was a true dedicated servant to the club.

His memory is immortalised in Harpenden’s history on the new club officer’s board and in many team pictures displayed, he will be sadly missed RIP.

John's funeral will take place on Monday 25th November at Hemel Hempstead Crematorium, Bedmond Road at 12.30pm.

Afterwards at the Inn on the Green pub in Harpenden.
