Introducing our charity partner for 2024/25 - The AT Society

We are pleased to announce our charity partner up to the end of the 2025 season will be Harpenden based The AT Society, who provide support for families suffering from Ataxia-Telangiectasia.

Ataxia-Telangiectasia or AT, is a rare and complex genetic disorder, affecting a number of different systems within the body. It gives increasing physical disability, while deficiencies in the immune system can lead to frequent colds and infections and the gradual emergence of lung problems.

Sadly the life expectancy for someone with AT is in the mid-twenties.

AT Society, who are funded entirely by grants and donations, are celebrating their 35th anniversary in 2024 and we are proud to be supporting a charity that does such vital work across the country,

We will be planning a number of fundraising events of the next 12 months to support AT Society and raise awareness of AT.
